What is the ACEL Leadership Academy?

The "Leadership Academy" is an initiative of ACEL with a purpose of providing 21st century learning opportunities to both our members and non-members alike.

ACEL is a leader in professional development and offers the opportunity to participate in leadership programs, topical seminars and workshops hosted at the national, local affiliate and association level. The structure of ACEL is built around providing a network of colleagues nationally and internationally. ACEL also provides leaders with an extraordinary array of publications that offer regular educational research, theory and best practice, news, book reviews and a wide variety of other significant materials. Additionally, ACEL have developed original learning resources such as the ACEL Leadership Capability Framework©, the ACEL Leadership Capability Learning Maps© plus a range of specially-designed online resources including professional readings, current research, podcasts, videos and guidelines for learning activities that support learning needs.

The ACEL Leadership Academy is our way of bringing all of these incredible learning opportunities together, under one united title.

What is the Learning Portal?

ACEL's Mission Statement is to expand professional learning opportunities and publications, using contemporary technologies to facilitate the delivery of more flexible, improved services and products; thereby, streamlining ACEL’s leadership to benefit members, improve stakeholder satisfaction, and grow the company.
