Leadership development programs are important because the quality and effectiveness of leaders and leadership at all levels of an organisation are crucial to the success of that organisation. Leaders must be at the top of their game and they need support and development to achieve at the highest levels. The ACEL Leadership Development Programs assist leaders at various levels of education to be the best they can be, personally and professionally.
ACEL offers two formal leadership development programs for teacher leaders through to system leaders. These yearlong programs are university accredited and are designed to match individual and organisational learning needs. The programs are specifically designed with 80% of the learning occurring in the workplace.
These leadership program are 12-month project-based, organic learning programs tailored to the needs, challenges, strengths and interests of individual participants and the challenges, hopes and aspirations of their schools, regions and systems.
