Leadership Programs

The ACEL Leadership Academy has three formal leadership development programs and a range of short-courses and events such as seminars, conferences, workshops, inter-visitation programs, summer schools and winter schools that are delivered throughout the year.

Leadership development programs currently being designed include curriculum leadership and system leadership. We can even discuss the possibility of tailoring a specific program to meet your needs.

Our formal leadership programs are:

• 12-months in duration
• Project-based in style
• Tailored to your current needs
• Organic in terms of your changing needs and contexts.

The Emerging Leaders' Program is designed for educational staff who are:

• New to their leadership role
• Acting in a leadership role
• Leading projects and wishing to undertake learning for leadership as part of their career development.

The Executive Development Program is designed for educational staff who are:

• Middle managers
• Aspiring to principalship
• In their first two years of principalship.

> The Nganakarrawa Program

The Nganakarrawa Program is designed for experienced principals who have the capacity to coach colleagues and/or are preparing for system leadership.
