Who are our Emerging Leaders?
“It has become increasingly clear that leadership at all levels of the system is the key lever for reform...” (Fullan, 2001). ACEL recognises leaders are in classrooms, they are in ground-level offices and they are in multi-level buildings. We are connecting the new ‘tribe’ of educational change agents through ACEL’s Emerging Leaders’ strategy.
160 innovative leaders with fresh conversations about educational change and educational leadership converged on Sydney on 27 and 28 September 2010 to hear success stories from Simon Breakspear, Andy Hargreaves, Felicity Mandile, Tony Mackay, Valerie Hannon and a range of entrepreneurial peers.
Building on the momentum created by this initial event ACEL has committed to taking this amazing program throughout Australia in March 2011.

My brain is about to explode… - and it’s fabulous! I love it! :)
Hope the buzz in the staffroom is like the buzz we experienced [in Sydney]!
